PROJECT 1 - Neurosurgery
Recruited by Medical Researchers and University Tech Transfer Office to create a new company in the field of Neurosurgery. Assumed the role of Co-Founder/CEO and crafted the Business Plan, recruited and engaged a Management team, and raised three rounds of Venture Capital. Upon achieving FDA Market Clearance and early Revenues of the initial products, the Company was acquired by an Industry Market Leader (Medtronic, Inc.).
PROJECT 2 - Vascular Access
Recruited by the Venture Capital Investors of an early-stage (Vascular) Medical Device Company to serve as Executive Chairman to mentor their first-time CEO and young Management Team. Served as the Company Advisor in lieu of engaging an Investment Banker and orchestrated an M&A Process resulting in an acquisition by another Industry Market Leader (CR Bard) within 12 months of engagement.
PROJECT 3 - Plastic Surgery
Engaged by a Private Equity Firm of an early-stage Aesthetics / Plastic Surgery Company in Costa Rica to serve as Executive Chairman to mentor their first time CEO and young Management Team. Assisted in raising growth and mezzaine capital leading to an Initial Public Offering (IPO) in June of 2018 at a market cap exceeding $500 Million (NASDAQ: ESTA).
PROJECT 4 - Florida Beer Company
Yes... a Brewery! Identified an opportunity to acquire 100% of the assets of a struggling microbrewery in Florida ("Indian River Brewery") and reorganized operations and market strategy. Identified a financial partner who assisted in acquiring other similar "assets" from Ybor City Brewing, Miami Brewing, and the Key West Brewery to complete a "roll-up" of four microbreweries to form The Florida Beer Company.
